THE PROCESS
We have refined our software deployment over the last decade, building in more options, greater flexibility, and improved training processes. While integrating new technologies into a customer's business is never disruption-free, Streamware strives to minimize disruption while maximizing results.
To date, Streamware has enjoyed 100% successful deployments and 100% customer retention. We learn from every deployment and continually improve our processes for our customers' benefit.
Pre-Deployment
Step 1: Site Visit or Customer Conference Call
To ensure our deployment program aligns with your back-office computing environment, route/delivery/warehouse operations, and your machines' audit capabilities, we conduct a site visit or hold a customer Conference Call.
At this time, you will need to select someone from your operation to be the Lead Resource for the installation-the communication link between your company and Streamware.
If a site visit: 1-2 days Your Streamware Field Consultant will gather critical information about your operation. He or she will interview key managers and employees, review operational procedures, and assess the best way to implement VendMAX and/or DeliveryMAX
If a conference call During this call, we will fill out a Customer Debriefing Form, which gives our team the information they need to build a custom implementation plan
Step 2: Site Visit or Customer Conference Call
Following the site visit or call, Streamware's Field Consultant will perform a Customer Readiness Review to assess your operation's readiness for installation.
The Field Consultant will determine if the network infrastructure is in place (PC Anywhere, SQL2000 etc.) and whether your Lead VendMAX Resource is ready for training.
Step 3: Statement of Work (SOW) Delivery
One week prior to the commencement of training, Streamware will provide a day-by-day breakdown of each training day. The SOW will specify which resources (people/equipment) will be required for each day and the content of each training session.
Once you sign-off on the SOW, software deployment can begin.
Implementation
The "hand-off" from Sales to Installation
Streamware makes every effort to ease the transfer of knowledge as you move into the implementation process. Your salesperson will host a conference call to introduce you to your Implementation Supervisor. This highly trained and experienced member of our Technical Services team will work hand-in-hand with you during this process. Together, you and the Salesperson will provide knowledge of your company's operation and infrastructure to the Implementation Supervisor.
The Custom Plan The Implementation Supervisor will work with you to build a customized plan, based on Streamware's proven templates, for a quick and successful implementation. This process includes:
- Oversight of your data conversion--We eliminate many, many headaches for you by converting your database to VendMAX. Streamware has experience converting from every other vending software in the field as well as custom systems. By converting this data, such as the master customer file and product information, we save you significant data entry time and money.
- Step by step guides for gathering information prior to training
- Weekly checks throughout the process for ongoing support and guidance
Training Streamware's Field Consultants are expert at designing a training program to suit your company's unique requirements, using one of the following training package options:
Fast Start Package: For customers with aggressive implementation goals and a desire for quick ROI. A two-week training module taking place at Streamware and on-site at your operation.
Phased Package: For customers with longer timeframes to achieve their VendMAX implementation goals. A three-week training module is staggered to allow customers to learn, and master, each phase of implementation before the rollout is complete.
